Call for Proposals – Economic Evaluation of Apiary Industry
News | 19/09/10
The International Gorilla Conservation Programme (IGCP) is a coalition programme of three international conservation organizations, which was formed in 1991 to ensure the long-term conservation of the mountain gorilla and its regional afromontane and high altitude forest habitat. The three organizations, African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), Fauna & Flora International (FFI) and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) formed the coalition on the principle of an equal partnership, collaboratively addressing the enormous conservation challenges in the region.
The programme operates in the three countries that share the habitat of the mountain gorillas: the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Rwanda and Uganda, and works in close partnership with the protected area authorities of the three countries (ICCN in DRC; RDB in Rwanda and UWA in Uganda).
